The company Hugo Boss was founded in Metzingen in 1924. Initially, the business concentrated solely on the distribution of workwear. When son-in-law Eugen Holy took over the business in 1948, many things changed. The chic suits for which the company is now known were incorporated into the range. They are still highly valued today and find a ready market. Since 1995, Hugo Boss has also been offering beautiful fragrances. Over time, the company has created various fragrance compositions that are very popular – with both men and women. In 2000, the Metzingen-based company also created an attractive women’s fashion collection for the very first time. Hugo Boss has gradually expanded its range of products and is now highly successful.
