Use

Nail files are available in many variants and the application also differs depending on the product selected. Metal, sandpaper or glass files should be applied horizontally to the nail and stroked in one direction without applying pressure. Then set down and repeat the process. Filing back and forth should be avoided, as this movement tears open the callus material. This makes the nail more vulnerable and brittle.
In addition to conventional nail files, files are also available that combine various manicure accessories in one nail file. These are also easy to use. The slightly coarser side shortens the nails, then you file the nails into the perfect shape and the fine side smoothes out slight unevenness.
Nail files for more shine specialise in the nail surface. First remove any ridges with the coarsest side. Then remove old cells and dust with the finer side until the nails shine brilliantly.
